MEMBER CONSENSUS » What started off as an upbeat and energizing musical quickly devolved into one of the most universally unliked movie in club history. Summed up by one member: "Pop and fizzle." The only thing getting the club through this movie by the end was the comfortable leather seats in Southdale's VIP room. Great singing, good-looking sets and costumes, and a mildly interesting story get bogged down in excrutiatingly long, and generally unengaging, musical numbersÑwhich were, ironically, the downfall of the movie.
